Privacy Policy — WriteReady for iPhone and Android

The short version: The WriteReady app runs entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party services, and it does not need an internet connection. Your documents never leave your phone or tablet, we never see them, and we collect no information about you at all.

This policy explains how the WriteReady app for iPhone, iPad and Android (the "App") handles your information. The App is made by One Last Job, an independent developer based in Victoria, Australia. This policy covers the App only; the WriteReady website at writeready.app has its own separate privacy policy.

1. Your files never leave your device

Every PDF and image you open in WriteReady is processed entirely on your own device, inside the App. Nothing is uploaded, sent to a server, or shared with anyone. The App works fully offline — you can use it in airplane mode. When you finish with a file or close the App, the working copy is discarded. We keep no copy of your documents and have no way to access them.

2. Information we collect: none

WriteReady does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, the App has:

No accounts, login, or sign-up
No analytics or usage tracking
No advertising and no advertising identifiers
No cookies
No location collection
No crash or diagnostic reports sent to us

Because the App works entirely on your device, there is simply no channel through which your information could reach us.

3. No third-party services

The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. It does not connect to our servers, or anyone else's, to do its work.

4. App store information

When you download WriteReady, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregate statistics — such as total downloads by region — through App Store Connect. That information comes from Apple, not from the App, and it does not identify you. Your App Store account and downloads are handled under Apple's own privacy policy.

The same applies on Android: Google may provide us with anonymous, aggregate download statistics through the Google Play Console. That information comes from Google, not from the App. Your Google Play account and downloads are handled under Google's own privacy policy.

On Android, the App declares the standard internet permission that its framework requires. WriteReady itself makes no network requests — you can confirm this by switching on aeroplane mode and using every tool as normal.

5. Children's privacy

WriteReady is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no information whatsoever, it collects none from children.

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page.
